Better evidence makes better attribution

What you can correct

• The likely artist or creator
• The likely original source
• A removed, private, or inaccessible source
• Any other relevant public evidence

How to submit

Open the relevant attribution report and choose Submit a correction. Include a clear explanation and, when possible, a public supporting URL. An email address is optional and is used only for follow-up about the report.

If the original search has expired, run a new search and submit the correction from the resulting report.

Review standard

A correction is treated as evidence, not an automatic verdict. Useful submissions identify the relationship between the source and creator, explain conflicting dates or claims, and distinguish first discovery from first publication.
